Meet The Artist

The Artist

Liz is a seasoned artist with over 30 years of creative experience, blending a rich background in fine arts with a mastery of multiple mediums. Best known for her intricate, multilayered resin paintings, Liz’s approach to art is deeply influenced by her background in jewelry design and manufacturing. Just as a jeweler meticulously assembles each piece, she constructs her paintings layer by layer, building depth, luminosity, and complexity into every work.

After years of working from her design studio in Sydney, Liz now draws inspiration from the serene beauty of the South Coast of NSW, where her new studio is nestled. Just like her teachings on the art of body language, her resin art is more than a visual experience; it is another form of unspoken language of emotion and connection, transcending words to evoke deep personal reflection. Her work invites viewers on a journey of self-discovery, encouraging them to engage with art in a way that is both mindful and immersive.

"It all comes from the same place - a fascination with what it means to be human. I explore the quiet language of expression, emotion and connection - in people and in my artworks”.

The Work

Liz’s current body of work focuses on resin and oil; two mediums that demand precision and patience. Through these materials, she explores the dynamic interplay of light, shape, and color, resulting in compositions that exude depth, luminosity, and vibrancy.

"My creative process is slow and mindful, grounding me in the present moment. I encourage viewers to embrace that same meditative state when engaging with my art, allowing the fluid, transparent forms to evoke a sense of calm and introspection."
